اللهوف علی قتلی الطفوف

کتاب لُهوف که مَلهوف علی قَتلی الطُفوف هم گفته شده یکی از منابع مهم و کهن واقعهٔ عاشورا و تاریخ زندگانی امام حسین علیه السلام، نوشته ابوالقاسم رضی الدین علی بن موسی معروف به سید بن طاووس است. کتاب لهوف ابن طاووس اختصار و اشتهار را با هم جمع کرده و در نزد علمای برجسته شیعه جایگاه مهمی برای خودش باز کرده است. به طورى كه شهيد محراب آيت اللّه سيّد محمد على قاضى تبريزى مى فرمايد: كتاب لهوف سيّد ابن طاوس – رحمة اللّه عليه -، نقليّاتش بسيار مورد اعتماد است و در ميان كتب مَقاتل كتاب مَقْتَلى به اندازه اعتبار و اعتماد به آن نمى رسد و در اطمينان بر آن كتاب در رديف اول كتب معتبره مقاتل قرار گرفته است. telegram.me/bayeganitabligh/2279

Lohoof (Sighs of sorrow)

“Al-Lohoof ala Qatla al-Tofuf” is a heart-rending but detailed and authentic account of the tragedy of Karbala and the sacrifice of Imam Husayn (a.s.), it was written by renowned Shia scholar, Sayyid Raziuddin Ali bin Musa Ibn Ja'far bin Muhammad Ibn Tawus al-Hilli (r.a.) better known as Sayyid Ibn Tawus, that died 664 hijri. Sayyid Ibn Tawus (r.a.) was a top Shia scholar and thinker of the seventh century, and he belonged to the family of learned who wielded tremendous influence in the scientific, religious and political circles.
The book has been divided into three main parts:
1) The events before martyrdom (from the birth of Imam Husayn (a.s.) until the day of Ashura)
2) The detailed account of the day of Ashura and gallantry of Imam Husayn's (a.s.) companions
3) The incidents after the martyrdom of Imam Husayn (a.s.)

اللهوف على قتلى الطفوف

اللُّهوف على قتلَى الطُّفوف أو المَلهوف على قَتلَى الطُّفوف، والمعروف بكتاب اللُهوف أحد مؤلفات السيد ابن طاووس (ت: 664 هـ) والذي تعرض فيه لترجمة حياة الإمام الحسين عليه السلام، كما تعرض لما جرى في واقعة الطف وللأحداث بعدها. يعدّ من كتب المقاتل المشهورة في الوسط الشيعي، ولما كان المؤلف يهدف إلى تعريف المسافرين والزائرين بما جرى في عاشوراء من هنا ابتعد عن التفصيل والإطناب في البحث مكتفياً بالإختصار والإشارات الخاطفة للقضايا، ولنفس الهدف قام بحذف أسانيد الروايات التي أوردها في الكتاب مكتفياً بذكر اسم الراوي الأخير.
