آتش ناگهانی (Flash fire) در حوضچه مخازن
آتش ناگهانی معمولاً در حدود چند ثانیه بوده که بستگی به طول و مسافت طی شده ابر بخار قابل اشتعال دارد .
آتش ناگهانی معمولاً در این مدت نمی تواند باعث خرابی اسکلت فلزی تجهیزات شود اما ممکن است باعث خرابی کابل ها و یا عایق های آن گردد و تنها خطر این آتش برای پرسنلی است که در میان ابر بخار و گاز حضور دارند .
The flash fire will typically last for a few seconds depending on the length/travel of the gas cloud.
At these durations, a flash fire will not cause escalation through steelwork failure although they can damage cabling or cable insulation.
The hazards from such fires will involve personnel being in the gas cloud area on ignition.
