“The time has come to book your holidays in Italy. Our mountains, our beaches, our cities are reopening,” Italy’s Prime Minister Mario Draghi said.

Italy’s Lazio region of Rome has launched a €10 million tourism campaign in order to attract tourists in staying longer by subsidising the accommodation cost in the capital and other surrounding areas.

The governor of Lazio Nicola Zingaretti announced yesterday the ‘Più notti, più sogni’ initiative, translating as ‘more nights, more dreams’ as part of the measures to restart the tourism sector in the region, which was put to pause due to the COVID-19 situation.
