التقينا مساء اليوم رئيس سلطة المياه الفلسطيني الأستاذ مازن غنيم، وكان اللقاء فرصة للتباحث حول تطورات المشهد السياسي في فلسطين وتطورات الأحداث في غزة، حيث شددنا على وحدة الموقف الفلسطيني والعربي والإسلامي تجاه أزمة غزة .
أكدنا أن الأحداث الأخيرة أثبتت أن الكيان الإسرائيلي لم يعد كما كان وسقطت منه الأوراق التي طالما سوق نفسه من خلالها كورقة المظلومية والاضطهاد وورقة الدولة الإستخباراتية التي لا تقهر، وأكدنا أيضا أهمية الشرعية الدولية وتنفيذ القوانين والقرارات الصادرة عنها، وجددنا مطالبتنا المجتمع الدولي بالضغط على إسرائيل للإذعان لقرار مجلس الأمن ووقف الحرب الظالمة على قطاع غزة .
في ملف المياه أكدنا على تبادل الخبرات والتجارب في إدارة المياه والحفاظ على هذه الثروة التي صارت تعاني من تبعات التغير المناخي ومشاكل معقدة أخرى.
We convened this evening with Mr. Mazen Ghneim, the head of the Palestinian Water Authority. Our discussion delved into the evolving political landscape in Palestine and the unfolding events in Gaza. We underscored the unity of the Palestinian, Arab, and Islamic positions regarding the Gaza crisis.
We asserted that recent events have demonstrated a significant shift in the Israeli entity, with the once-utilized cards of victimhood and oppression now obsolete, including the portrayal of an indomitable intelligence state. Additionally, we stressed the imperative of upholding international legitimacy and adhering to the laws and resolutions it issues. Furthermore, we reiterated our plea to the global community to exert pressure on Israel to comply with the Security Council's resolution and cease its unjust war on the Gaza Strip.
Concerning the water file, we emphasized the importance of sharing expertise and experiences in water management, recognizing the challenges posed by climate change and other intricate issues affecting this vital resource.
