Taq Khosra or Iwan al-Mada’in, the largest arch in the world built of bricks without the use of supports or armament, is located in the Al-Mada’in neighborhood near the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, and was built in the sixth century AD, and is considered one of the wonders of architecture throughout history.
