خبر فوری در رابطه با محدودیت های جدید در سنتر دانشگاه استانبول از سوی جناب آقای فاتیح


THE BELOW MENTIONED EMAIL REGARDING ONLY THE ISTANBUL UNIVERSITY TEST CENTER Dear PTE Academic Candidate,

Starting from December 21st 2020 Monday, the morning sessions for PTE Academic exams at İstanbul University Yabancı Diller Bölümü Test Center will start at 11:00 am. The building entry starts at 10:05 am (in compliance with the current İstanbul Governor’s Office arrangements). Please abide by these temporary entry and starting hours to avoid crowding at the entrance. Also keep in mind that:

- You will be scanned for body temperature upon entry. Candidates with 3 consecutive readings of 37.5 C and higher will be denied access to the building and to the test center. (suspicious measurements or any waivers will result in denial for entry)

-You will be asked about personal history involving risky travel path, dry cough, sore throat and respiratory issues and denied access if one or more of these exist. (suspicious history or any waivers will result in denial for entry)

- You will be asked for a valid, individualized HES code (an individualized app/sms code used for tracking Turkish/Foreigner ID and Passport numbers for existing Covid-19 test results on Turkish database) (suspicious scans or any waivers will result in denial for entry)

-Water dispenser at the premises will be removed for hygiene reasons, and candidates will not be offered any sort of refreshments (including water, in compliance with official IU Rectorate decree). The candidates are allowed to bring their own supplies and consume sparingly in the waiting room only (keeping their masks on at other times).
- No air conditioners will be used in the waiting room and the test room (in compliance with official IU Rectorate decree).
- Starting from December 21st 2020, the Istanbul Uni Test Center afternoon sessions will be suspended and all registrations for afternoon sessions will be cancelled (for reschedule or refund) from December 21st 2020 to March 15th 2021. (MORNING SESSIONS OF ISTANBUL UNIVERSITY TEST CENTER CANCELLED)

-These temporary arrangements will be in effect until further notice.
