B: That can't be right; I have not used it in months!

A: Looking closer, this charge was made in a different city.

به نظر بی معنی میاد.

فعل مرکب to check out دو سه تا معنی داره که یکیشون امانت گرفتن کتاب و مجلات و ... از کتاب خونه هست. برای نمونه:
