2022-01-04 19:14:11 In sentence a, the speaker has two or more brothers. (which brother got married? The adjective clause tells you it is the brother in Chicago, not the one in Texas.)

In sentence b, the speaker has only one brother. (The adjective clause gives additional infrmation, but because the speaker has only one brother, the clause is not needed to identify which brother.)

2021-12-15 18:12:50 امروز که داشتم بین پیام های قدیمی تر کانال میگشتم یهو چشمم به این وویس افتاد. حیفم اومد دوباره شیرش نکنم. تو این وویس منصورِ عزیز چند نکته خیلی مهم درباره ساختار SOP و اشکالات رایجی که مرتبا تکرار میشه تو SOPها میگه. حتما حتما پیشنهاد میکنم قبل نوشتن یا درخواست ادیت گوش بدید.

زمانی که بعد از این عبارت ها یک clause مستقل (کامل) نوشته میشه، باید بعد از عبارت قیدی comma گذاشت.
— When I was a child, I loved Dracula movies.

اگه عبارت قیدی در وسط یک claus کامل آورده بشه، از comma برای قبل و بعد عبارت قیدی استفاده میشه.
—Once, after I had seen a Dracula movie, I had a nightmare.

اگه عبارت قیدی بعد از cluse کامل نوشته شده باشه، comma لازم نیست ولی در بعضی شرایط گذاشته میشه.
—My mother would not let me watch any more Dracula movies because they gave me nightmares.

زمانی که بیشتر از دو جمله ادغام میشن، شاید لازم باشه که توی جمله ها تغییراتی ایجاد کرد تا روانتر به نظر بیاد. برای مثال جمله های زیر باید به همدیگه متصل بشن:
- My parents wanted me to have the experience of studying in a foreign country.
-My parents wanted me to have the experience of learning another language.
-My parents do not want me to remain in a foriegn language too long.
-My parents do not want me to change my cultural beliefs.
جمله های بالا میتونن به یک جمله تبدیل بشن:
-My parents wanted me to have the experience of studying in a foreign country and learning another language, but they do not want me to remain here long, nor do the want me to change my cultural beliefs.

توجه داشته باشید که توی جمله های ادغام شده‌ی بالا ساختار های گرامری و جمله های مشابه به هم وصل شدن و از ضمیر برای جلوگیری از تکرار اسم ها استفاده شده (they به جای parents).

به این نکته توجه کنید که نباید جمله های کامل زیادی رو پشت سر هم نوشت چون از زیبایی متن کم میکنه.

حرف ربط nor، دو ایده منفی رو بهم وصل میکنه و ساختار جمله ی بعد از nor مشابه جملات سوالی میشه (فعل کمکی و فاعل جابه جا میشن).
مثلا:
I don't speak Korean, nor do I write it.

اگه دقت کنید تو گزینه دوم این جا به جایی رعایت نشده. در ضمن nor اینجا یک coordinating conjunction هست اگه دوست دارید اسم fancyشو بدونید!
