کلمه uninterested به معنی بی علاقه بودن، بی توجه بودن است.

I am completely uninterested in football.
من کاملا به فوتبال بی توجه هستم.


اما کلمه disinterested به فردی اطلاق می شود که میتواند درباره ی موضوعی منصفانه و بی طرفانه قضاوت کند زیرا که درگیر جنگ و جدل های آن نیست و در آن موضوع نفعی ندارد.

ما نیازمند مشورت با یک فرد بی طرف هستیم.
