मार्कोस या समुद्री कमांडो भारतीय नौसेना की एक विशेष बल इकाई है जिसे 1987 में स्थापित किया गया था. मार्कोस का प्रशिक्षण इतना व्यापक होता है कि इनको आतंकवाद से लेकर, नेवी ऑपरेशन, और एंटी पायरेसी ऑपरेशन में भी इस्तेमाल किया जाता है. कुछ मामलों में तो इनको अमेरिकी नेवी सील से भी बेहतर माना जाता है. इनका मोटो है: "The Few The Fearless."

सेना के 1000 सैनिकों में से कोई एक ही मार्कोस कमांडो बन पाता है. इसका मतलब इसमें सिलेक्शन होना बहुत ही मुश्किल होता है. ये कमांडो भारत के सबसे खतरनाक कमांडो में गिने जाते हैं.

इनसे किसी भी तरह के ऑपरेशन करवाये जा सकते हैं. देश के मरीन कमांडो जमीन, समुद्र और हवा में लड़ने के लिए पूरी तरह से सक्षम होते हैं. जबकि मरीन अर्थात पानी से जुड़े ऑपरेशन में इनको महारत हांसिल होती है.

मार्कोस कही भी आसानी से देखने को नहीं मिलते हे. आतंकवादी इनके नाम से कांपते हैं और इन्हे दाढीवाला फौज के नाम से बुलाते हैं.
