مراسم پير شاليار که مردم منطقه اورامان تخت آن را «عروسي پيرشاليار» نیز می نامند مراسمی معنوی با قدمتی هزار ساله است که در دو نوبت از سال در سه روز متوالی برگزار می شود.
پیر شالیار هورامی (پیر شهریار اورامی)، بزرگ اهل آیین صوفیان، در بین دراویش نقشبندی از اهمیت و احترام زیادی برخوردار است. در افسانه های مردم منطقه او فردی طبیب و صاحب کرامات است که سبب شفا یافتن «شاه بهار خاتون» دختر نابینا و ناشنوای شاه بخارا می شود و در پی آن مراسم ازدواج دخترِ شاه و پیر شالیار برپا می شود.
به این ترتیب در روز چهل و پنجم از فصل بهار، در نیمه اردیبهشت ماه به جهت سالگرد این ازدواج، مراسمی با آداب و آیین خاص برگزار می شود و در روز چهل‌و‌پنجم زمستان نیز، در روز چهارشنبه ای که به نیمه بهمن ماه نزدیک است، سالگرد به دنیا آمدن پسر پیر شالیار را جشن می گیرند.
مردم روستا و بخش های اطراف به همراه بسیاری از مهمانان دست در دست یکدیگر داده و یک حلقه بزرگ که در فرهنگ کردستان نماد همبستگی و اتحاد است را تشکیل می دهند و سپس به جشن و سرور می پردازند.

Pir Shaliar Horami (Pir Shahriar Orami), a great Sufi, is of great importance and respect among the Naqshbandi dervishes. In the legends of the people of the region, he is a physician and a man of miracles who heals the healing of "Shah Bahar Khatun", the blind and deaf daughter of Shah Bukhara, and after that, the marriage ceremony of the king's daughter and old Shaliar takes place.
Thus, on the forty-fifth day of spring, in mid-May, to mark the anniversary of this marriage, a ceremony is held with special customs and rituals, and on the forty-fifth day of winter, on Wednesday, which is close to mid-February, Celebrate the birth anniversary of Pir Shaliar's son.
The people of the village and the surrounding areas join hands with many guests and form a large circle that is a symbol of solidarity and unity in the culture of Kurdistan, and then celebrate.
