این تندیس در حال عبادت به همراه اشیا باستانی و با ارزش دیگری در تپه شوش و در نزدیکی معبد اینشوشیناک (خدایگان مورد عبادت آن زمان ایلامی ها) یافت شد. اشیاء یافت شده در این منطقه همگی از جنس زر، سیم، لاجورد و یا عقیق جگری بودند. با توجه به جزئیات این مجسمه زرین، همانند آرایش مو و صورتش می توان با قطعیت آن را تندیس یک پادشاه دانست.
This statue was found in worship along with other valuable antiquities on the hill of Susa, near the temple of Inshushinak (the gods worshiped at that time by the Elamites). The objects found in this area were all made of gold, wire, azure or liver agate. According to the details of this golden statue, like the hair and face, it can be considered a statue of a king.
