اولین باغوحش ایران در زمان ناصرالدینشاه و در دوشانتپه تهران افتتاح شد!
در این باغوحش یک میمون و چهار شیر نر و ماده از کوههای شیراز (دشت ارژن)، سه ببر از مازندران و یک یوز و سه پلنگ از جاجرود و پنج خرس از دماوند نگهداری میشد!
The first zoo in Iran was opened during the reign of Nasser al-Din Shah in Dushanbe, Tehran!
In this zoo, a monkey and four male and female lions from the mountains of Shiraz (Arjan plain), three tigers from Mazandaran and a cheetah and three leopards from Jajrud and five bears from Damavand were kept!
