Silk Road Organization is looking for “ Finance assistance “

The Finance Assistant is responsible for:
1- Ensure maintenance of all accounting records, ensuring that records are complete, accurate and safeguarded.
2- Ensure proper filing of monthly vouchers and paperwork.
3- Review all documents submitted for payment to ensure proper procedures have been followed.
4- Oversee petty cash maintenance and bank register maintenance, ensuring all expenses are reasonable and appropriately authorised and recorded.
5- Maintain local excel cash books, ensuring all movements are recorded, reconciled, and coded to appropriate donors and projects.
6- Timely submission to Finance Manager of weekly and monthly requirements
7- Ensure that all supporting documentation is prepared and filed according to Silk Road procedures.
8- Review & reconcile physical cash to the cash tracking sheet daily, and to the cash book weekly.
9- Travel to Syria as much as needed and required (It could be twice a month).
