ماده ۲۹۴
اعتراض نامه باید مراتب ذیل را دارا باشد:
۱) سواد کامل برات با کلیه محتویات آن اعم از قبولی و ظهرنویسی و غیره.
۲) امر به تادیه وجه برات.
‌مامور اجرا باید حضور یا غیاب شخصی که باید وجه برات را بدهد و علل امتناع از تادیه یا از قبول و همچنین علل عدم امکان امضاء یا امتناع از امضاء‌را در ذیل اعتراضنامه قید و امضاء کند.
