IELTS Speaking: How to talk about a book or film
Today, we will look at how to tell a good story, whether it be a suspense story or any other kind. This lesson will also be useful to you if you are preparing to describe a book or film for the IELTS speaking test. Telling a story is an art, and phrasing your ideas in a certain way can make or break your attempt at describing a scene. So what makes a good story? Creating tension and suspense to intrigue your audience. In this lesson, I will teach you vocabulary and phrases that will help you convey images, such as cold sweat, from the shadows, out of the corner of the eye, unexpectedly, suddenly, and more.
