Right sided maxillary fungal sinusitis and rhinolith following | MedRophine Science

Right sided maxillary fungal sinusitis and rhinolith following dental extraction! A 65 years old woman complaining of persistent right hemifacial pain 4 months after extraction of 3 molar teeth. PNS CT scan shows a partial opacity of right maxillary sinus (red arrow) and fracture and excision of the floor of the sinus during extraction procedure (white arrow).
After functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS) under GA, wide antrostomy of the sinus was done and so much purulent secretion, so many fungus balls (blue arrow) and one piece of sinonasal stone or rhinolith (purple arrow) were drained and extracted by forceps and copious normal saline irrigation.
