35 year old patient with fever on and off , presented with seizures , headache and vomiting.
This patient has a lesion which centered over the right ambient cistern which is causing severe compression of the pons and mid brain, where the lesion is seen to displace the midbrain and pons to the left side , significant brain edema is also noted .
I have requested contrast study for the patient and sometimes , even after an mri study is done , we need to follow up with repeat mri and clinical case discussions to understand the nature of the disease .
I feel this lesion to go in favor of a neoplastic origin , hoewever requested further work up
