I once felt entitled to someone, like I was obligated to forever have a place in their life because I was a source of healing for them. I was convinced I deserved more than being a healer to someone who ended up bringing me to my darkest hour. I felt used when they left me as if they used my love to form a weapon against me. Like they took my love and used it to love someone else. I didn't realize we outgrew each other, and they never owed me anything. I gave them a piece of myself, I let them in and I loved them, none of this was against my will. It was a lesson, a piece of myself I needed to learn to meet the healed version of myself.
