براساس آمارهای شهرداری تهران، در سال ۱۳۹۹ بیش از ۴۰ هزار تاکسی فرسوده در شهر تهران مسافر جابه‌جا کرده‌اند.

قابل ذکر است عوامل زیادی در آلودگی هوای شهرهای بزرگ نقش دارند، اما مهمترین عامل آلودگی هوای شهر، منابع متحرک تولید آلودگی شامل خودروهای سبک، سنگین و موتورسیکلت‌ها هستند.

بر اساس آمار موجود بیش از ۷۵ درصد آلودگی هوا در کلانشهر تهران حاصل فعالیت منابع متحرک است/نوداقتصادی

Social determinants of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis: A scoping review and research gaps

Abstract

Tuberculosis is a prime example of a social disease that requires social, economic and environmental interventions. However, research on social determinants of Multidrug-Resistant (MDR-TB) is limited. The five-stage scoping review showed the most common association of MDR-TB with multidimensional poverty (income, nutrition, education and social support) both as a contributing factor and a consequence of it. The review also found that physical environment (inadequate housing, overcrowding, poor physical environment, and smoking), health care needs, cultural determinants (race, ethnicity and gender), comorbidities had a strong influence on the development and transmission of MDR-TB. Since, epidemiology and care for MDR-TB are greatly influenced by socioeconomic factors, social, environmental and economic actions are needed in addition to the implementation of novel diagnostic techniques and treatments.

Young People's Voices on Climate Anxiety, Government Betrayal and Moral Injury: A Global Phenomenon

Abstract

Background: Climate change has significant implications for the health and futures of children and young people, yet they have little power to limit its harm, making them vulnerable to increased climate anxiety. Qualitative studies show climate anxiety is associated with perceptions of inadequate action by adults and governments, feelings of betrayal, abandonment and moral injury. This study offers the first large-scale investigation of climate anxiety in children and young people globally and its relationship to government response.

Methods: We surveyed 10,000 young people (aged 16-25 years) in ten countries. Data were collected on their thoughts and feelings about climate change, and government response.

Findings: Respondents were worried about climate change (59% very or extremely worried, 84% at least moderately worried). Over 50% felt sad, anxious, angry, powerless, helpless, and guilty. Over 45% said their feelings about climate change negatively affected their daily life and functioning, and many reported a high number of negative thoughts about climate change. Respondents rated the governmental response to climate change negatively and reported greater feelings of betrayal than of reassurance. Correlations indicated that climate anxiety and distress were significantly related to perceived inadequate government response and associated feelings of betrayal.

Interpretation: Climate change and inadequate governmental responses are associated with climate anxiety and distress in many children and young people globally. These psychological stressors threaten health and wellbeing, and could be construed as morally injurious and unjust. There is an urgent need for increases in both research and government responsiveness.

United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet has named the climate change crisis as "the single greatest challenge to human rights of our era".

In her opening statement for the 48th session of the Human Rights Council which will last until October 8, Bachelet on Monday noted that the interlinked crises of pollution, climate change and biodiversity act as threat multipliers, amplifying conflicts, tensions and structural inequalities, and forcing people into increasingly vulnerable situations.

"As these environmental threats intensify, they will constitute the single greatest challenge to human rights in our era," she said.

اخیرا محمد درویش در مورد وضعیت بسیار نگران کننده از نظر فروپاشی سرزمینی هشدار داده اند.

پیشنهاد مرحوم دکتر قبادیان در مورد تشکیل "بنیاد ملی نجات سرزمین" با پیش کسوتی سمن ها و با مشارکت نهادهایی مانند شهرداری ها، شوراها و نمایندگان مردم، می تواند در مهار روند پرشتاب و بسیار نگران کننده "فروپاشی سرزمینی" بسیار موثر واقع شود.

مرحوم دکتر قبادیان : "ملتی که منابع طبیعی زیستی و بستر حیات خود را نابود کند با دست خود مرگ و نیستی خود را فراهم می‌کند و جامعه ما اکنون گرفتار آن شده است."

دکتر قبادیان در سال ۱۳۹۵، با پیشنهاد ایجاد یک بنیاد ملی نجات سرزمین، گفت: در کنار آمایش سرزمینی ما اکنون نیاز به نجات سرزمین داریم و با پیش‌کسوتی سمن‌ها و با مشارکت نهادهایی مانند شهرداری‌ها، شوراها و نمایندگان مردم باید برای مقابله با بحرانی که پیام‌آور بیماری، فقر، درماندگی و مرگ و نیستی است، تلاش کرد.
