وجدوها محبوسة في غرفة صغيرة.. كان جسمها هزيلاً جداً، ووزنها حوالي 30 كليو ،كانت جلد على عظم.. كان منظرها مرعب جدا.و المرعب اكثر هو المكان الذي وجدوها فيه..وجدوها في قبو بيت والدتها،الشرطة اكتشفت أن والدتها وأخوها حبسوها في القبو طوال 25 سنة..

قبض على الأم وتوفت بعد شهر في السجن نتيجة أزمة قلبية، أما أخو بلانش حكم عليه بالسجن 15 سنة.
