• Began his career in 2014 as a Directional Survey Engineer at Powerline Technical Services, later serving as a Field Engineer for Production Technology.

The stage was set and the stakes were high as the final round of BUOG SPE Presentation Competition took place on March 23, 2023

The energy and enthusiasm of the competitors was palpable as the students of BUOG presented their innovative ideas, knowledge and skills in front of esteemed judges from the oil and gas field

It was an inspiring event that demonstrated the remarkable creativity and passion of the next generation of leaders in the field and the judges were impressed by the quality of the presentations and the level of research put into each one

In the end, the competition was fierce, but Victory belongs to a select few

Four teams emerged as the champions of the SPE presentation competition

The 1st place:

Climate Change: The Role of CCUS

The 2nd place:

Hydrogen Energy

The 3rd place:

Carbon Capture Utilization and Sequestration (CCUS)

The 4th place:

Plastic Waste to Hydrogen

أنطلقت الجولة الاخيرة من مسابقة العروض التقديمية والمقدمة من قبل الفرع الطلابي لجمعية مهندسي النفط العالمية في جامعة البصرة للنفط و الغاز في 23 مارس 2023 ، وبتقييم لجنة حكم مختصة في مجال النفط والغاز :

◅ د. يوسف محمد باقر
◅ أ. إسماعيل رعد
◅ أ. احمد الجراح

وبعد منافسة شديدة، حققت الفرق الأربع الفائزة المراكز الأولى، وهي:

أقيمت الجولة الاولى من مسابقة العروض التقديمية | ٢٠ من الشهر الحالي | في جامعة البصرة للنفط والغاز

بحضور لجنة تقييمية ضمت اساتذة مختصين و خبراء في مجال النفط و الغاز
و مشاركة فرق من طلاب متميزين و مبدعين في جامعة البصرة للنفط والغاز لمختلف الاقسام

قدموا خلالها عروضا بأداء رائع ومعلومات قيمة  حول أهم المواضيع في مجال الصناعة النفطية

First round of the presentation competition was held | 20th March | at Basra University of Oil and Gas

In the presence of an evaluation committee that included specialized professors and experts in the field of oil and gas

With participation of teams of distinguished and creative students at Basra University of Oil and Gas

During which they gave great performances and valuable information on the most important topics in the oil industry :

- Digital transformation in Oil and Gas Industry
- CCUS
- Hydrogen energy
