ICDSAD seeks to advance current directions and developments in cross-disciplinary areas of discourse studies, including linguistics, translation studies, teaching, and education. We hope to receive extended proposal abstracts addressing rigorous topics dealing with the uncompromising contribution of discourse in grasping a fine-grained understanding of political, social, and cultural issues in shaping identities, regulating the political, promoting translation-based cultural diplomacy, and promoting socio-cultural orientations in language education.
