ما يعيشه وطننا وشعبنا اليوم من بحبوحة الديمقراطية المفعمة بالحرية، هي ثمرة تضحيات عقود طوال قدمها على مذبح الكرامة، مراجع وعلماء شهداء وبيوتات كريمة وطوابير طويلة من المضحين، وما شهيدنا الخالد المرجع السيد محمد باقر الصدر واخته العلوية بنت الهدى (قدس سريهما) إلا نجمان مضيئان في سماء الشهادة العراقية، شهيدنا الكبير أثرى بإنجازاته وابتكاراته العلمية مكاتب العالم في الفقه والمنطق والفلسفة والعقائد والعلوم والقرآن والاقتصاد والقانون والسياسة المالية والمصرفية ومناهج العمل السياسي وأنظمة الحكم الإسلامي وغير ذلك، لينال الشهادة على يد الديكتاتورية التي قدر الله أن يكون يوم نهايتها ذات اليوم الذي اغتالت به الشهيد الصدر حتى كأن عدالة السماء شاءت أن تنتصف لدم الشهيد ومن سبقه ولحق به من المضحين.

The flourishing democracy and freedom our nation and people enjoy today result from decades of sacrifices made on the altar of dignity. These sacrifices include those of revered scholars, martyrs, noble families, and countless others who have given their lives for the cause. Our revered martyr, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Mohammad Baqir Al-Sadr, and his sister, Alawite Bint Al-Huda, shine brightly as stars in the Iraqi martyrdom constellation. Through his groundbreaking achievements and scholarly innovations, our esteemed martyr enriched global knowledge in various fields, from jurisprudence and logic to philosophy, beliefs, Quranic science, economics, law, financial and bank policies, political methodology, and Islamic ruling systems. His martyrdom, at the hands of a dictatorship, coincided with its downfall, as if the heavens themselves sought to bring justice for his blood and the sacrifices of those before and after him.
