Mu’aadh ibn Jabal radhi Allahu anhu said:
“O’ people, you must seek knowledge before it is taken away, for indeed when its people (the scholars) die, it wll be taken away. And beware of bid’ah, innovation and sophistication, and adhere to the ancient way [i.e., the way of the Prophet ﷺ].”

معاز ابن جبل رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا:
’’اے لوگو، تم پر لازم ہے کہ علم کو چھن جانے سے پہلے تلاش کرو، کیونکہ جب اس کے لوگ (علماء) مر جائیں گے تو وہ چھین لیا جائے گا۔ اور بدعات سے بچو اور قدیم طریقہ [یعنی رسول اللہ ﷺ کے طریقے] پر قائم رہو۔
