Sh. Muḥammad al-ʿUmarī حفظه الله said:
قد يهبك غيرك مالا فتراه أكرمك وأعطاك آخرشفاعة فتراه أحسن إليك ولكن قد لا تنتبه لمن أعطاك وقتا يستمع إلى اتصالكأو يستقبل زيارتك وغير ذلك من وقته الوقت هو العمر، ومن أعطاك من وقته فقد أعطاك من عمره
"Someone might give you money, and you'd think he was generous to you, and another might intercede for you, and you'd think he was kind and good to you, but you might not pay attention to the one who gave you from his time. He listens to your call, welcomes your visit, and suchlike of giving you from his time. And life is but time, and so he who gives you from his time has given you (a portion) from his life."
