Mnemonics
Simply put, you encode information in a way that allows for efficient storage and retrieval. Here, you can use short poems, keywords, acronyms, or memorable phrases. You can even use visual cues to memorize information.
For example, I used to memorize the first column of the periodic table like this: هلینا کرباسیفر, which stands for H, Li, Na, K, Rb, Cs, Fr
Or another example would be: dREaM during REM sleep, which I used in medical school.
Maybe rhyme them? like: Emphysima is an obstructive lung disease — FEV1 and FVC decrease!!
Well, you get the point right? Remember, the more absurd and dirty it is, the easier you'll remember it.
