مَثَلُ الَّذِينَ يُنْفِقُونَ أَمْوالَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّـهِ كَمَثَلِ حَبَّةٍ أَنْبَتَتْ سَبْعَ سَنابِلَ فِي كُلِّ سُنْبُلَةٍ مِائَةُ حَبَّةٍ وَ اللَّهُ يُضاعِفُ لِمَنْ يَشاءُ وَ اللَّهُ واسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ
"The likeness of those who spend their property in the way of Allah is as the likeness of a grain (of corn) that grows seven ears, (with) a hundred grains in every ear. And Allah multiplies (in abundance) for whom He wills; and Allah is All-Embracing, All- Knowing."

Abu Baseer said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah (as), ‘The Words of Allah, Those who are listening intently to the Word and they are following the best of it. He (as) said: ‘He is the man who hears the Hadith, so he narrates it just as he had heard it, neither increasing in it nor reducing from it’.

Verse 20
Imam Ali (as) asked the holy prophet (S0: ‘O Rasool Allah! Inform us about the Words of Allahj: However, for those who fear their Lord, for them would be rooms built from above these rooms [39:20]’.
He (S) said: ‘O Ali! Those are chambers which Allah has Built for His friends from the pearls, and the sapphire, and the emeralds, and their ceilings are of gold interwoven with silver. For each of the chambers are a thousand doors of gold upon each of which is an Angel allocated to it. In them are raised couches, one on top of the other from the silk, and the brocades of different colours, and their filling is of musk, and the camphor and ambergris.
When the Momin enters his house in the Paradise, a crown of kingship and prestige would be placed upon his head, and he will be dressed in the clothes of gold, and silver, and the rubies, and the crystals arranged in designs as a wreath under the crown’.

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) has said,

طُوبـى لِمَنْ أَدْرَكَ قَائِمَ أَهْلِ بَـيْـتِيْ وَ هُوَ مُقْتَدٍ بِهِ قَبْلَ قِـيَامِهِ. يَتَوَلَّـى وَلِـيَّهُ يَتَبَرَّأُ مِنْ عَدُوِّهِ وَ يَتَوَلَّى الأَئِمَّةَ الْهَادِيَةَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ. أُولٌئِكَ رُفَقَائِيْ وَ ذُو وُدِّيْ وَ مَوَدَّتِيْ وَ أَكْرَمُ أُمَّتِيْ عَلَـيَّ.

“Congratulations to the person who meets the Qa’im [one who will rise] from my Ahlul Bayt and has firm belief in him before his advent. He will have love for his friends, and will distance himself from his enemies and will have love for the leaders of guidance (the Imams) who came before him. Indeed these are my true friends, those whom I have love and affection for and (they) are the noblest of people from my nation.”

All human beings, though diverse in creation, dispositions, faculties, and tastes trace back to one common origin, namely Adam.

The clause: “then made from him his wife” actually indicates that God created Adam; then, He created his wife from the remainder of his clay; as a consequence of which the creation of Adam precedes that of Eve and his offspring.

“Then” (thumma) does not connote temporal posteriority at all times, but at times it is employed to demonstrate delay in expressing something; an instance of which is “We noticed your work today; then we saw the work you did yesterday;” yet, what was carried out yesterday certainly precedes that of today.

It is also worthy of note that the creation of Adam’s wife was not done out of Adam’s body, but from the remainder of his clay, as clearly specified in Islamic traditions. Nonetheless, according to a tradition, Eve was created out of Adam’s lowest left rib which is groundless.

The tradition derives from Jewish and Christian traditions (Isra’iliyyat) and is consistent with the second chapter of the Book of Genesis, namely the available distorted Torah.

Verse 9
The blessed Verse makes mention of three groups of people: those who know, those who do not know, and men of understanding.
A tradition narrated from Imam Sadiq (as) includes an interpretation concerning the three groups mentioned herein:
“We are those who know, our enemies are those who do not know, and our followers are men of understanding.”
