ملاحظات مهمة يجب الأهتمام بها عند أعطاء دواء Nefopam injection

طبعاً يعطى دواء nefopam أمبول المعروف تجارياً بأسم Acupan بطريقتين :

deep intramuscular route (IM)

slow intravenous route (IV) (more than 15 minutes).

يجب أن يبقى المريض مستلقياً لمدة ٢٠ الى ٣٠ دقيقة بعد أعطاء الدواء سواء كان وريدياً أو عضلياً .

Patients should lie down for 15 to 20 minutes after administration.
والسبب وراء ذلك

it is necessary to lay down in order to avoid some side effects such as nausea, dizziness, sweats

هل ممكن يعطى الدواء بطريقة a continuous infusion ؟

حسب lexicomp ممكن أعطاء الدواء بطريقة a continuous infusion بعد التخفيف

Solution may be diluted in D5W or NS for infusion.

أما عدد الحد الأقصى من ampoules التي من الممكن أعطاءها في اليوم الواحد بمعلومة أن الأمبولة الواحدة تحتوي 20mg/2ml

The recommended dose is generally 1 ampoule (IV or IM route), to be renewed until 6 ampoules per day if necessary.

صراحة المعلومات المتوفرة عن دواء nefopam قليلة لأنهُ دواء غير مقر في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية .

It is available in Europe, but is not approved by the Food and Drug Administration in the United States
